The SimpleDropDownButton can nearly be used like a core Swing button because the button extends JButton. Additional methods are documented in the Synthetica Addons API.

Generally default arrow icons will be provided by the active Synthetica Look and Feel. You can choose to use a bigger or smaller arrow icon. It is also possible to set a custom arrow icon and change the icon location.
